Who is God?
GOD IS A SPIRIT. (John 4:24). If we want to communicate with God we must do it on His terms.
GOD IS HOLY. He has never been touched in any way by sin nor will He be involved with sin.
GOD IS ETERNAL. (Ps. 102:25-27; Col. 1:17). God's timing is always perfect.
GOD IS INFINITE. His Power is without limits except when He limits Himself.
GOD IS OMNIPRESENT. (Ps. 139:7-10). He is everywhere in the Universe at the same time.
GOD IS OMNISCIENT. (Ps. 139:6; 147:5). He knows everything there is to know about everything.
GOD IS OMNIPOTENT. (Col. 1:16-17). There is not anything God cannot do.
GOD IS TRUTH. (John 14:6). He never, ever lies.
GOD IS JUST. (Rom. 2:11). He is 100% fair in His dealings with us. We always receive justice from Him.
GOD IS GOOD. (Mark 10:18). He is totally good.
GOD IS UNCHANGEABLE. (James 1:17; Heb. 13:8; Mal. 3:6). He will always be the same as He has always been.
GOD IS LIFE. (John 14:6). All life flows from God.
GOD IS SOVEREIGN. (Daniel 4:35). He is the absolute supreme ruler of the Universe. God's Sovereignty is in complete harmony with His other attributes, such as Love, Justice and Mercy, and the rest of His characteristics. He is the most perfectly balanced personality in the Universe!
GOD IS LOVE. (1 John 4:8). He is the very personification of love.
GOD IS FAITHFUL. (2 Peter 3:9). He is absolutely trustworthy. We can have complete trust in God and His Promises.
GOD IS MERCIFUL. (Eph. 2:4). His Mercy is beyond human comprehension.
GOD IS PROVIDENT. (2 Peter 3:9). He watches over and cares for His Creation.
